Μία πύλη για όλα τα δίκτυαOne gateway for every network
Το firewall είναι η πύλη προς το internet, κάνει το routing για όλα τα δίκτυα, ελέγχει κάθε κίνηση από το ένα στο άλλο και δίνει απομακρυσμένη πρόσβαση με mesh VPN, χωρίς ανοιχτή θύρα και με πολιτική που επιτρέπει σε κάθε συσκευή μόνο συγκεκριμένες υπηρεσίες. Εκεί κλειδώνει ότι μόνο το domain φτάνει τους servers.The firewall is the gateway to the internet, routes every network, controls all traffic between them and provides remote access over a mesh VPN, with no open port and a policy that allows each device only specific services. That is where the rule lives that only the domain can reach the servers.

Backup που έχει δοκιμαστείBackups that have been restored
Νυχτερινό backup βάσης και αρχείων του file cloud στο NAS, με snapshots από πάνω. Η επαναφορά έχει δοκιμαστεί στην πράξη. Στήνεται και backup ολόκληρου του host, επίσης στο NAS.Nightly file cloud database and file backups to the NAS, with snapshots on top. Restore has been tested for real. A full backup of the host, also to the NAS, is being set up.
Δίκτυο & Wi-FiNetwork & Wi-Fi
Κάθε χρήση έχει το δικό της VLAN και το δικό της Wi-Fi, ώστε μια συσκευή επισκέπτη ή ένα «έξυπνο» gadget να μη βρίσκεται ποτέ στο ίδιο δίκτυο με τους servers. Ο controller του Wi-Fi τρέχει σε VM και δεν είναι προσβάσιμος από το internet. Κάποια δίκτυα φτάνουν και με καλώδιο, άλλα μόνο ασύρματα.Each use gets its own VLAN and its own Wi-Fi, so a guest's phone or a smart gadget never sits on the same network as the servers. The Wi-Fi controller runs in a VM and is not reachable from the internet. Some networks are wired as well, others are wireless only.
Ο Domain Controller μοιράζει διευθύνσεις (DHCP) σε όλα τα δίκτυα, αλλά μόνο το δίκτυο του domain μπορεί να τον φτάσει. Από τα υπόλοιπα δεν απαντά ούτε σε ping.The Domain Controller hands out addresses (DHCP) to every network, but only the domain network can reach it. From the others it does not even answer a ping.
Τα δίκτυα εκτός domain χρησιμοποιούν υποχρεωτικά το DNS του firewall, που μπλοκάρει κακόβουλα και phishing sites. Δεν μπορούν να το παρακάμψουν με άλλο DNS ή με κρυπτογραφημένο DNS.Networks outside the domain are forced to use the firewall's DNS, which blocks malicious and phishing sites. They cannot bypass it with another DNS server or with encrypted DNS.
